Senior AI/ML Engineer
Longitudinal Clinical Intelligence

We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead the development of the longitudinal clinical intelligence engine at the core of GenTraceDx.
This role focuses on designing and implementing systems that continuously interpret genomic and clinical data in the context of evolving scientific and clinical evidence.
You will work at the intersection of:
- genomics
- clinical data
- AI systems
- real-world oncology applications
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI/ML systems for longitudinal interpretation of genomic and clinical data
- Develop pipelines that integrate multiomic inputs (WES, RNA) with external knowledge sources
- Build and optimize models that support continuous reanalysis as new evidence emerges
- Implement agentic or retrieval-based systems to incorporate real-time updates from literature, clinical trials, and curated databases
- Collaborate with bioinformatics, clinical, and software teams to translate models into production systems
- Contribute to system architecture for scalable, secure, and auditable clinical AI pipelines
- Ensure models are transparent, reproducible, and aligned with clinical and regulatory expectations
Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, or related field
- Strong experience in applied machine learning and production-grade systems
- Experience working with biomedical, genomic, or clinical datasets is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with knowledge graphs, retrieval systems, or evidence integration approaches
- Experience with Python, ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), and data pipelines
- Strong understanding of model evaluation, validation, and reproducibility
- Ability to work across disciplines, including clinical and scientific teams
