Biography:
Dr. June Wong is a biotechnology leader specializing in the commercialization of regulated diagnostics and personalized therapeutics, with over 26 years of experience building and scaling national and global platforms.
As the commercial architect behind GenTraceDx, she bridges elite genomic research with real-world clinical deployment, advancing a new “Living Diagnostic” model for precision oncology.
She has led the development and scale of multiple market-defining initiatives, including serving as the exclusive white-label designer and manufacturer for at-home diagnostic programs for CVS Pharmacy and Walgreens across the United States. Her proprietary platforms, CoreDx and ClearPath LDT, support secure clinical workflows and digital infrastructure for over 3 million patients worldwide.
Dr. Wong has extensive experience navigating complex regulatory environments, including securing the first Canadian FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for a COVID-19 PCR test and achieving Canada’s first Health Canada CTA (OLIP) approval for a personalized neoantigen cancer vaccine trial.
She holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia.

Her team secured the first Canadian FDA-Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for a COVID-19 PCR test (Sept 2020) and achieved a landmark milestone in oncology: securing Canada’s first-ever Health Canada CTA (OLIP) approval and REB authorization for a personalized neoantigen Synthetic Long Peptide (SLP) cancer vaccine trial NeoTRACE-001. This achievement established the nation’s first clinical pathway for personalized cancer vaccines.

Dr. Wong holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia. Her unique combination of deep scientific expertise and decades of “battle-tested” commercial execution makes her a leader in the North American biotechnology landscape.
A proud native of British Columbia, Dr. Wong was born in Vancouver and raised in Kelowna. She currently resides in Vancouver with her family and her two beloved dogs. Beyond her commercial ventures, Dr. Wong is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of Canadian innovators. She serves as the CEO and Director of Metropolitan Preparatory Academy, a prestigious private middle and high school in Toronto. In this role, she launched the GENIUS Program, Toronto’s first high school biotechnology initiative, designed to provide students with early, hands-on exposure to cutting-edge life sciences. Her dedication to education ensures that the “GenTraceDx mission” to bring world-class genomics to the frontlines continues with the scientists of tomorrow.
