As the commercial architect behind GenTraceDx, she bridges elite genomic research with real-world clinical deployment, advancing a new “Living Diagnostic” model for precision oncology.

She has led the development and scale of multiple market-defining initiatives, including serving as the exclusive white-label designer and manufacturer for at-home diagnostic programs for CVS Pharmacy and Walgreens across the United States. Her proprietary platforms, CoreDx and ClearPath LDT, support secure clinical workflows and digital infrastructure for over 3 million patients worldwide.

Dr. Wong has extensive experience navigating complex regulatory environments, including securing the first Canadian FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for a COVID-19 PCR test and achieving Canada’s first Health Canada CTA (OLIP) approval for a personalized neoantigen cancer vaccine trial.

She holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia.

A proud native of British Columbia, Dr. Wong was born in Vancouver and raised in Kelowna. She currently resides in Vancouver with her family and her two beloved dogs. She serves as the CEO and Director of Metropolitan Preparatory Academy, a prestigious private middle and high school in Toronto. In this role, she launched the GENIUS Program, Toronto’s first high school biotechnology initiative, designed to provide students with early, hands-on exposure to cutting-edge life sciences.
